Founded in 1993 with a focus on mineral exploration, mining, and export, Mongolyn Alt (MAK) LLC has grown into one of Mongolia’s leading national companies, with operations spanning seven core sectors: geology and exploration, mining, building materials manufacturing, energy, aviation, tourism, and agriculture.
For more than 30 years, MAK has consistently been recognized among Mongolia’s leading enterprises. In 2025, the company ranked No. 2 in Mongolia’s TOP 100 Enterprises and No. 1 among domestically owned companies.
Since its establishment, MAK has contributed a cumulative ₮4.8 trillion in taxes and fees to state and local budgets, created more than 7,000 sustainable jobs, and invested ₮5.8 trillion in Mongolia’s industrial sector.
