As part of the tourism development project, MAK has first put into operation the “Ayan Zalaat” project. This five-star tourist complex is setting new standards in the Mongolian tourism sector, including the hospitality sector. In addition, research and design work has been carried out to build the “Turtle Rock” tourist complex, as well as a complex for young families in Turgeniy Am.

Turgeniy Am

It is planned to build a comprehensive development of affordable apartments and houses for young families that meet international standards on a 55-hectare area of the Turgeni River.

The “Turgeniy Am” complex will be a green development that will create a healthy and comfortable environment with a school, kindergarten, shopping center, sports complex, and horse racing track.

Ayan Turtle Rock

MAK first entered the tourism industry in 2011, establishing the national airline “Hunnu Air,” which operates domestic and international flights. Relying on its airline, MAK is implementing 11 tourism projects in five regions, including Bayan-Ulgii, Khuvsgul, Dornod, Umnugovi, and Tuv aimag, in a phased manner, and is striving to develop cross-border tourism.

The Tavan Tolgoi Tourism Complex will be established to promote the Nomrug Nature Reserve, the monuments of the Khalkhin Gol River, and the Great Buddha Stone Buddha Complex.

Dornod Province

A Tsengeg tourism complex will be established to promote the life and nomadic culture of the Altai Mountains and Bayan-Ulgii province, not only domestically but also internationally.
