MAK Health Screening

Since last year, “Mongolyn Alt” (MAK) LLC has been providing free health screenings and diagnostic services to residents in the local communities where it operates as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives. This year, residents from five soums in Umnugovi, Dornogovi, and Dundgovi provinces received a total of 3,500 examinations across seven types of medical services.

  • Abdominal ultrasound

  • Electrocardiogram (ECG)

  • Dental examination and diagnostics

  • Mineral and micronutrient analysis

  • Bone density test, Blood glucose level

  • Traditional medicine consultation

  • Dermatology and skincare assessment

The results revealed significant health concerns among the participants: 47.2% were diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia, approximately 60% had gallstones, 76% showed signs of fatty liver disease, and 42% were found to have kidney inflammation. Additionally, the screenings identified 2 cases of liver cancer, 1 case of kidney cancer, 12 cases of ventricular enlargement, and 12 individuals at high risk of heart attack. All affected individuals were advised to seek immediate specialist medical care.

MAK has designated healthcare support as one of its key CSR priorities and plans to continue organizing these screenings annually as part of its commitment to improving community well-being.
