Building Materials Manufacturing

Eight types of building materials are being domestically produced to replace imports, using advanced technology and fully or semi-automated production lines that adhere to European standards and methodologies, ensuring minimal tolerance errors. Additionally, plans are underway to implement comprehensive industrial park projects for building materials production in Sergelen and Dalanjargalan.

"Sergelen" Industrial Park

Located in Sergelen soum, leveraging the “MAK EuroBlock,” “MAK EuroWindow” (windows, doors, glass facade) factories, and the “MAK EuroVenti” ventilation duct factory, new plants will be established for manufacturing plastic pallets, pipes, plastic window and door frames, sacks, high-quality ready-mix concrete, dry construction mixtures, and fiber cement boards. These developments aim to reduce import dependence in these construction material categories.

MAK Euro Block Plant

The MAK Euro Block Plant is a fully automated facility equipped with machinery from Germany's Topwerk Group's "HESS AAC Systems" and features a modern computer control system. It produces products according to European standards and best practices. In recognition of its significant contribution to the economy, the plant was awarded the prestigious National Construction Award – the "State Gerge" honor.

MAK Euro Windoor Plant

Located in Sergelen soum, Tuv province, the MAK Euro Window Plant has been operating since 2019, equipped with fully and semi-automated machinery and technologies from globally recognized European brands such as SCHÜCO, WEINIG, ELUMATEC, LISEC, and FRATELLI PEZZA. We produce high-quality aluminum, PVC, and wooden doors, windows, facades, and glass units that meet international standards and supply them to the market.

MAK Euro Venti Plant

Located 50 km from Ulaanbaatar in Sergelen soum, Tuv province, the “MAK Euro Venti” plant was commissioned in 2022. It is equipped with semi- and fully automated machinery from the world-leading Swiss company “SPIRO INTERNATIONAL” and Germany’s “SCHRODER GROUP.” By applying the expertise, quality, and standards of these companies in Mongolia, the plant produces high-quality steel ventilation ducts and supplies them to the market.

"Dalanjargalan" Industrial Park

Building upon the “MAK Euro Cement” plant located in Dalanjargalan soum, the Dalanjargalan Industrial Park will be established by introducing 3D printing technology for infrastructure construction. The park will consist of facilities for precast concrete products, gypsum boards, engineered stone panels, and a technological lime production plant.

MAK Cement and Lime Plant

The "MAK Euro Cement" plant, located in Dalanjargalan soum, Dornogovi province, was commissioned in 2017. It is Mongolia’s first fully automated, environmentally friendly dry-process cement factory equipped with a robotic laboratory. The plant utilizes the best practices and technologies from leading European companies to produce high-quality cement using the country’s rich mineral and raw materials.
