“MAK Cement” Supports the Protection of Mongolian Gazelle Populations

“MAK Cement” LLC is actively contributing to the conservation of the core population of Mongolian gazelles (Procapra gutturosa) inhabiting the Ikh Nart Nature Reserve in Dalanjargalan soum, Dornogovi Province. This initiative is being implemented in partnership with the Ikh Nart Nature Reserve as part of an offset conservation project.

The project aims to increase the population of endangered mammals listed in Mongolia’s Red Book and to protect their natural habitats.

As part of its environmental responsibility, MAK Cement LLC implements a detailed environmental impact mitigation and offset plan, continuously undertaking exemplary measures within its operating regions to preserve rare and wild animal species—setting a benchmark for environmental stewardship in the industry.
